DescriptionBetween Andrew Olliver on the one part and John Odwerthe his son and Agnes his wife on the other part Reciting that the said Andrew and Agnes his wife had lately granted to the said John and Agnes his wife All the grantors' lands and tenements in Cherlwode and Horle with gardens, meadows &c. Be it known that the said Andrew granted the same to the said John and Agnes and the heirs of the said John for these services, namely: for his food for life in each three weeks 21d., to be paid on Saturday at the hour of vespers, and also the annual rent to the said Andrew for his clothing and dwelling-place, 12s. viz. on S. Andrew's day, 2s. and at Christmas 12d. and two days before Ladyday, 3s. and two days before S. John Baptist's day, 3s. And at Michaelmas, 10d. for one measure of wheat, likewise 18d. for 6 measures of oats at the same feast And also the said Andrew should have of the said John and Agnes 1d. at S. Thomas's day for offering at Christmas; likewise 4 cartloads of firewood, faggot or cordwood(?) to be cut in March and to be carried between Midsummer day and S. Peter ad Vincula (August 1st) and to be carried two furlongs round the parish church of Cherlwode. With power of distress in case of default
