| Description | By William Wower of Horle, to John Trumper (?) and Alice his wife and John and William and Thomas their sons, of Cherlewode, of a messuage lying in Cherlewode in length between the tenement of William Gyberd, N. the common pasture of the Prior of the Church of Canterbury, S. and in breadth between land of the said Wm. Gyberd, W. and the aforesaid pasture, E. To hold to the said John and Alice for their lives and after their decease to John the son, William and Thomas successively, with reversion after the death of the said Thomas to the grantor and his heirs and assigns To hold of the chief lords of that fee &c. rendering to the grantor yearly 2s. 6d. at two terms. Warranty. If the rent be in arrear for a year and a day the premises to revert to the grantor
