Description | Notifying that whereas a covenant was moved between John De Cherlewode on the one part and William Godefrey on the other, concerning the denial of 18d. of rent which the said John claimed from the said William for certain lands and tenements which the said William held of the said John of the tenements which sometime were Thomas Canvylle's in Cherlewode Peace thereupon between them was restored, namely that the said John remised and quit-claimed to the said William 9d. of the said 18d. rent; the said William to have and to hold the said tenement of the said John rendering therefor 9d. rent yearly and the said John to acquit the said tenement against the chief lords of that fee.
