The accused on two occasions paid for a penny roll with a shilling. He tried this again and she, being suspicious, refused to take a third shilling. She used one of the shillings to pay Mr Goatcher for some nuts and he said it was a bad one. She found a special constable who arrested the accused. Wife of James Cooper
