DescriptionExtracts from Par/59/9/1 have been printed in S.A.C. II, p.316. The poem "Mercy passeth Rightwisnes" was printed by Furnivall in Hymns to the Virgin, (E.E.T.S., 1867, p. 95), from B.M.Add. MS. 31042. f.122v, which is in a north country dialect and differs from this version. Other copies are in Lambeth MS. 853 p.66 and Nat. Lib. of Wales, Porkington MS. 10 f. 203r.

An edition of the poem with commentary is published by Joyce Bazire in Neuphilologische Mitteilungen 2/LXXXIII 1982. See also WSRO MP 1189. Par/59/9/2 is made up of loose papers and is not complete.
