DescriptionThis collection comprises almost 20,000 photographs taken over the last 150 years. The photographs record many aspects of life in town and country and changes that have taken place. People are shown at work, play and school as well as attending baptisms, marriages and burials and public celebrations. Events are recorded from the fall of the Chichester Cathedral spire in 1861 to the present day.
