Messuage in occ. of David Sellin, with the barn, gateroom, backside, orchard and garden belonging, at Bognor in South Bersted; two closes of arable land (12a.) adjoining to Bognor Brook and lying between lands of the widow Fletcher on E. and the lands of Stephen Piercey on W.; close of land (5a.) adjoining to lands of the widow Fletcher on W. and to lands of Richard Belchamber on E.; close of arable land (8a.) adjoining to the lands of said Richard Belchamber on S. and to the lands of Richard Godman and John Squire on N.; parcel of arable land (1a.) lying in the common fields of Bognor and adjoining to lands of said Richard Goodman on S. and to lands of said Richard Belchamber on N.; one acre of arable land called Hilters Acre adjoining to lands of said Richard Godman on W. and E.; one acre of pasture land lying behind the messuage aforesaid together with four beast leazes lying in the common brooks of Bognor; sixpenny dole (½a.) lying in a mead called Pignall Mead adjoining to lands of said sic Conyers Richardson on E.; threepenny dole lying in the said mead called Pignall Mead adjoining to lands of said John Squire on E

In consideration of £261, being the sum due for principal money and interest as in (vi) below
Recites: (i) lease, 1 Mar. 1564/5, for 10,000 years from the previous Lady Day, at annual rent of 9s. 11d., suit of court of Aldwick manor twice a year, heriot of the best beast upon death or alienation and relief of 9s. 11d., from John Dingley, esq., to John, the property being then described as messuage and two yards of land and cottage and croft of land called in Bognor, parcel of the manor of Aldwick; and in occ. of said John; (ii) that the term of years by lawful ways and means vested in John Francis of Felpham, yeo.; (iii) mortgage (by assignment) 28 Feb.1710/11, to secure £200 from said John Francis to (a); (iv) that on 9 July 1711, a further £46. 1s. 0d. was advanced to said John Francis by (a), making the total mortgage debt (with the principal sum and interest due on (iii) £250; (v) assignment, 26 Mar. 1712, for £105, from said John Francis to (b), subject to the above mortgage; (vi) that there is now due from (b) to (a) the sum of £261 upon security of the above mortgage for principal money and interest
