DescriptionPhotocopies of six pages of the 'Genealogical Account of the Mayo and Elton Families' by Charles Herbert Mayo (privately published book, c1900 edition) with portraits of members of the Mayo and Druitt families. The portraits consist of drawing labelled ' Jane, daughter of James Mayo and wife of Robert Druitt, 1791-1874'; and photographs of Barbara, daughter of James Mayo, and wife of Humphrey John Hare; James Druitt and Matilda Jane his wife; Matilda Jane Druitt; Archdeacon Thomas Druitt 1817-1891 and William Druitt 1820-1885; Robert Druitt 1814-1883. Also photocopy of photograph of Charles Mayo taken from original at New College, Oxford; and photocopy of photograph of Mayo Druitt aged 16 dated 1886 taken from private album. In addition there is a copy of a family tree showing the children of James Mayo, including Jane Mayo who married Robert Druitt.
