DescriptionTwo scrapbooks of miscellaneous press cuttings mainly relating to Sussex. Most of the cuttings in the first volume appear to be written by Norah Baldwin Martin, although some are written by Merlyn Heagearty. The second volume contains articles by various people. The cuttings are mainly from the Sussex County Herald and Herald Magazine and the Sussex Daily News, but are also from other local and national newspapers. There is no index , but the cuttings written by Norah Baldwin Smith are often concerned with nature or historical themes and there are articles on villages including Bramber, Lindfield and Twineham and places in East Sussex. The second volume includes articles on Richard Jefferies, Shoreham's Place in Literature, Reminiscences of Mr and Mrs William Verrall of Bolney, West Chiltington, Poynings and Newtimber and also articles relating to East Sussex and Kent.
